Thanks to the generosity of the members of the Ohio Chapter of the American College of Surgeons, we are pleased to offer two (2) $1,500.00 scholarships for one rural surgeon and one early career surgeon to attend the 2026 ACS Clinical Congress.
Applicants must submit a short statement (less than 250 words) on why a trip to attend the 2026 ACS Clinical Congress will improve his/her practice of surgery and stimulate participation in the Ohio Chapter, along with a CV, using the online application by June 1, 2026.
The funds must be used to support the registration fee, airline fare, meals, and hotel costs for the applicant. There will be a requirement for the winning applicant to attend the 2027 Ohio Chapter Meeting and give a report on the benefits of this award to the recipient.
All early-career and rural surgeons who are OH-ACS chapter members are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
The deadline for the application is Monday, June 1, 2026.
